We are building interactive courses for engineering, physics, and math — starting with calculus. Here is how we think about it.
Why we started
Most technical education works like this: a professor stands at a board, writes an equation, and asks you to memorize the result. You go home, do fifty drill problems, pass the exam, and forget it by next semester.
We think that is backwards.
The widget is the lesson
A student who can see a limit approach zero, drag a slider to change a parameter, and watch the graph respond — that student does not need to memorize. They already understand.
That is what we build. Every lesson in our courses has a widget at its center. The reading explains what you just did. The worked example shows how to solve it on paper. But the learning happens when you change the equation and see what breaks.
What is live today
Three calculus courses are free on Arian University:
- Calculus 1 — limits, derivatives, and the foundations of differential calculus
- Calculus 2 — integration, series, and approximation
- Calculus 3 — multivariable calculus, vector fields, and surface integrals
Each course has interactive widgets, full course pacing, worked examples, and practice problems.
What is next
Physics 1 (mechanics) and Linear Algebra are in development. Beyond that: statistics, discrete math, signals and systems, control theory — and whatever our pilot partners ask for.
